London is most expensive of 24 nation’s capitals in Euro 2016

England’s football team might rank 11th in FIFA rankings – but going into the Euro 2016 championships its capital is firmly bottom of a league of cheapest European property prices.

At £4,922 per square metre, the price of London’s homes is more than ten times that of the cheapest capital – Turkey’s Ankara where property is £451 per square metre.
